The French Art Colony’s Riverby Theatre Guild will close its 2015 season of performances with a Holiday production with a pop culture influence. The show will consist of a live staging of two tales; “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “A Seussified Christmas Carol”. The production will perform at the Bossard Memorial Library Riverside Room, in Gallipolis, December 18-20.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas”, is cast with all youth performers and is an exact portrayal of the television classic, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Sally, and whole gang are brought to life on stage by local youth performers in a story that has touched the hearts of millions around the world for generations.
“A Seussified Christmas Carol”, cast with teen and adult actors tells the traditional Charles Dickens' Christmas classic as if Dr. Seuss had written it. This colorful, funny, fast-paced version is told with humor and heart.
Both scripts are short, one-act plays, making the production approximately 75-90 minutes, with an intermission. Tickets will be available at the door for $8 for adults, and $5 for students. Reservations can be made by calling the French Art Colony, at 740-446-3834.
