321 Upper River Road, Gallipolis
Do you have someone coming to the Gallipolis Area who needs a special touch of local flavor? We have just renovated our Executive Suite which is now being called The Lafayette Suite. It is a 2 room suite with the French colony touches that bring a little bit of the history of Gallipolis to the room.
The Lafayette Suite contains a sofa, small kitchen area with a refrigerator and microwave, two bathrooms, and a king size bed in the “master suite” room. The best part is the balcony that overlooks the river and bridge. Some say you might be able to see the Mothman if you look close enough. Don't forget to check out our indoor pool & hot tub!
Please stop by for a tour of our renovated rooms and to experience the great Gallipolis hospitality we at the Super 8 have in abundance.
“Chasing light and capturing characters is an incredibly challenging journey”, says Joy Duffy, featured artist in the French Art Colony’s gallery exhibition, January 15 - February 27. In her artist statement she continues, “My melodic maelstroms mingle with nostalgia. Fluid forms meander through tangled tendrils. Empowered essence inspires curiosity. Adversity drives imagery to entice the eye, ego, and mind.”
The French Art Colony’s Riverby Theatre Guild will close its 2015 season of performances with a Holiday production with a pop culture influence. The show will consist of a live staging of two tales; “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “A Seussified Christmas Carol”. The production will perform at the Bossard Memorial Library Riverside Room, in Gallipolis, December 18-20.
Cast Members from “A Seussified Christmas Carol” L-R Linda Sigismondi, Grant Bale, Frances Gibser, Phyllis Doerfer, Jenny Myers, and Baleigh Radune
